
Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstracts must be submitted in English using the online system of the Congress web page (Abstract submission) exclusively.

Abstracts submitted via email or any other means will not be accepted.

Each author can only submit one (1) abstract with one (1) registration.
Abstract Content Details
-
Your abstract should not be longer than 300 words.
-
Your abstract should be unstructured, consisting of a brief introduction, objective,methodology, a summary of findings/results, and the study's conclusion (significance/contributions).

You are required to provide a maximum number of five (5) keywords.

Details of each affiliation must be provided, including the country name.

The accepted abstracts will be published in a special issue of the Borneo Journal of Medical Sciences (BJMS) (consent is required).

Four best abstracts will be selected for possible publication as original articles in the Journaof Physiological Anthropology (JPA) with the Article Processing Charges (APC) waived.

The selection of these abstracts does not guarantee acceptance. Acceptance will depend onthe review process of JPA and the decision of the Editor-in-Chief.
Presentation Guidelines
Oral Presentation

Each presenter will be given a time slot of 15 minutes, distributed as 10 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of Q&A.

As the scheduled presentation is tight, it is of utmost importance that all presenters must not exceed the time limit.

Format: PowerPoint in .ppt or .pptx format.

All presenters are advised to upload their PowerPoint presentations at the respective locations at least an hour before their scheduled presentations. Technical staff at the venue will be there to assist.
Poster Presentation

Size: A1 (59.4 X 84.1 cm)

Orientation: Portrait
-
No standard format for the content of the poster.

Each presenter is responsible for the printing of their poster. Only materials for poster display (e.g. adhesive tapes, boards) will be available.

Each presenter is encouraged to be beside their poster during the poster evaluation session.
